Free tuition at US college helps students from impoverished families
Je'Dynn Fogle, 18, from Lexington, Kentucky, United States, realized at an early age that money was tight for her single mother.
She knew the only way she would be able to go to college was on a full scholarship so that her parents, who are separated, did not have to worry.
She heard about Berea College, nestled in a tree-lined 3,640-hectare campus about 64 kilometers south of Lexington, which offers students something no other higher-education institution in the US does-free tuition and the chance to graduate without being in debt.
