Ford offered a glimpse into its sixth-generation Explorer on Wednesday. The flagship SUV, which will be made at Changan Ford, will hit the Chinese market in June. The seven-seat model will be built on the lighter, leaner and stronger CD6 platform and is available in rear-wheel-drive and all-wheel-drive versions. It is 5,075 mm long, 2,004 mm wide and 1,778 mm tall, with a 3,025 mm wheelbase. The Explorer will feature a 2.3-liter turbocharged engine that delivers a maximum output of 276 horsepower. The model's bodywork features ultra strength steel and aluminum alloy to cut weight and improve fuel efficiency. It also boasts Active Park Assist 2.0 and the latest version of its safety system Co-Pilot 360. .
