NEW OPENINGS

The Grand Mercure Shenzhen Nanshan has opened in South China's Guangdong province. Adjacent to Shenzhen Bay Port, Shekou Port and the Nanshan Science and Technology Park, the hotel has 209 guest rooms, each equipped with a minibar and free Wi-Fi.

Novotel Qiandao Lake Hotel was recently inaugurated in East China's Zhejiang province. Located near Qiandao Lake, a popular tourist destination, the 190-room hotel boasts an appealing environment. It also features indoor and outdoor swimming pools, a children's playground, a chess and cards room and gym, as well as conference spaces.

HEALTH PROGRAM

Singapore-headquartered Banyan Tree Group is launching an integrated health and well-being program called SafeSanctuary that incorporates protocols of assurance and well-being standards. This will be rolled out progressively from June throughout all of the group's properties. The program covers more than 40 areas with enhanced protocols, including screening procedures, hygiene stations and redesigned processes throughout guest and associate experiences.

APPRECIATION DINNER

Sheraton Jinan Hotel in East China's Shandong province hosted a party to show its respect to local medical workers who had been dispatched to Hubei province for an emergency mission during the peak of the COVID-19 outbreak. During the gala night, representatives of the medics shared their front-line stories with the audience and local singers and dancers staged performances.
