Next five-year plan to encourage overseas study to cultivate talent for development
China will resume international cooperation in education following strict pandemic prevention and control measures, a senior education official said on Tuesday.
Liu Jin, director of the Ministry of Education's department of international cooperation and exchange, said that with the COVID-19 pandemic raging globally, the ministry will conduct educational cooperation online.
In the 14th Five-Year Plan period (2021-25), the country will make new breakthroughs in advancing international educational cooperation in regions including Hainan province, the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, the Yangtze River Delta and Xiong'an New Area, Liu said at a news conference in Beijing.
