The second China-Central Eastern European Countries Expo& International Consumer Goods Fair in Ningbo in East China's Zhejiang province will set up three major exhibition areas-a China-CEEC exhibition, an international consumer goods exhibition and an annual import commodity exhibition-and aims to boost trade, business cooperation and cultural exchanges.

The China-CEEC expo will display products and achievements in sectors including investment, agriculture, health, education and tourism.

Other highlights of this session include Zhejiang's pilot free trade zones, overseas economic zones and trade cooperation zones as well as key products in fields such as scientific and technological innovation, digital economy, life and health and new materials. The exhibition will gather a group of high-tech products and projects from leading companies in Central and Eastern European countries such as the planes in Slovenia, top-notch healthcare beds in the Czech Republic and anti-reflective glass in Latvia.

The international consumer goods exhibition at this year's expo will further open up the domestic market to the outside world and help China attract more overseas investment.

Haitaohui is a platform showcasing a variety of international imported commodities. It attracted some 200 companies from more than 30 countries and regions.

The Zhejiang domestic and foreign trade exhibition will focus on the development of the province and showcase local specialties such as Huzhou green home furniture, Ouhai glasses, Yongkang hardware and Shaoxing yellow wine. It will also exhibit integrated domestic and foreign trade services for characteristic industries, hold trade forums and launch the "Santong online service" platform and matchmaking meetings.

The imported commodity exhibition and the online matchmaking conference for imported and exported commodities in Central and Eastern Europe are also expected to attract attention.

Whether it's face-to-face communication or remote online negotiation, a series of procurement matchmaking meetings will fully benefit enterprises in Zhejiang and Central and Eastern European countries.
