Yantai crude line delivers big change

A crude oil pipeline with an annual transmission capacity of 20 million tons was put into operation on Monday in East China's Shandong province.

It is the first pipeline of such scale to start operations during the 14th Five-Year-Plan period (2021-25) in China.

Originating at Yantai Port of Shandong province, the pipeline, with a length of more than 370 kilometers, is also the first public crude oil transmission line to link the port directly to the oil refineries.
