British queen under medical supervision
Britain's Queen Elizabeth II was under medical supervision at Balmoral Castle in Scotland after concern was raised over the health of the 96-year-old monarch.
"Following further evaluation this morning, the Queen's doctors are concerned for Her Majesty's health and have recommended she remain under medical supervision," a statement from Buckingham Palace said on Thursday. "The Queen remains comfortable and at Balmoral."
Prince Charles, the heir to the throne, his wife, Camilla, and sister, Princess Anne, were already with the queen at Balmoral, her summer residence in Scotland. Prince William, Charles' eldest son, was also en route to the castle.
