UN voices concern over renewed fighting

United Nations Secretary-General Antonio Guterres on Tuesday voiced deep concern about reports of renewed fighting along the Armenian-Azerbaijani border, his spokesman Stephane Dujarric said. Guterres called on all sides to take immediate steps to de-escalate tensions, exercise maximum restraint, and resolve any outstanding issues through dialogue and within existing formats. Guterres also expressed support for all ongoing mediation efforts in the region.
