Li hails strong ties with Kazakhstan
Premier: China is ready to maintain close high-level exchanges, strengthen synergy
China-Kazakhstan cooperation enjoys huge potential and broad prospects, Premier Li Keqiang said on Tuesday, as he called on the two countries to continue to maintain close communication, deepen practical cooperation and facilitate people-to-people exchanges.
Speaking during a meeting via video link with Kazakh Prime Minister Alikhan Smailov, Li said that in the 30 years since the establishment of diplomatic relations, ties between China and Kazakhstan have developed significantly as well as benefited both countries and their peoples.
President Xi Jinping's successful visit to the Central Asian country in September has promoted new progress in bilateral ties, Li added.
