Shenzhen's super hub, Gangxia North has officially been in use since 2022, creating an important addition to the Shenzhen Metro Network. Seven years in the making, following close work with clients and partners, the "Eye of Shenzhen" can finally be enjoyed by the public.

As one of the largest rail transit projects in China, Gangxia North Hub is the first integrated hub to be completed since the establishment of the urban rail transit network in Shenzhen. The hub enables a four-line transfer between Lines 2, 10, 11 and 14. Its official operation not only facilitates the travel of commuters in Pingshan and Longgang districts, but also contributes to the high-quality economic development of Futian district.

It further optimizes the urban traffic layout in Shenzhen and contributes to the rail transit construction in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.

The hub is an underground integrated passenger transport hub that depends on the subway transfer station, following transit-oriented development design principles. It connects with multiple transportation modes such as bus rapid transit terminals, bus stations, taxis and bike-sharing facilities. The atrium is used to unify the various floors of the building and create internal visual connections across the multiple levels. With the introduction of the natural light underground, the urban life is extended into the lower levels to create a continuity of the experienced city.
