East China's Zhejiang province is building 10 landmark projects to boost its transport. Among them, the Ningbo-Zhoushan Railway, partially built by China Railway No 4 Engineering Group Co Ltd, costs some 27 billion yuan ($3.9 billion) and aims to link coastal Ningbo with the island city of Zhoushan. Construction started on Nov 2 of last year. The line includes seven stations, allowing trains with speeds of up to 250 kilometers per hour. The railway includes Xihoumen Highway and Railway Bridge, dubbed the world's longest super sea-crossing bridge with a total length of 3,118 meters, to connect Zhoushan's Jintang and Zezi islands.
