NATO chief meets Zelensky on assistance
NATO Secretary-General Jens Stoltenberg traveled to Kyiv on Monday where he held a joint news conference with President Volodymyr Zelensky. They discussed aid for Ukraine during their meeting in Kyiv, the government-run Ukrinform news agency reported on Monday. "Today we discussed Jens' initiative to create a special fund for the financial support of Ukrainian defense worth 100 billion euros ($107 billion) for five years," Zelensky told reporters during a media briefing. For his part, Stoltenberg said that some NATO members have agreed to increase their support for Kyiv. According to media reports, Stoltenberg arrived in Kyiv earlier in the day on an unannounced visit.
