Residents use unified card for services
A unified card offering access to multiple services was launched on Sunday, providing residents in the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region with access to 22 major social security services, 193 tourist areas, 23 museums, 171 libraries, 64,000 hospitals and 3,909 bus routes.
The initiative was announced during a symposium in Tianjin attended by key leaders from the Communist Party of China and regional governments that also featured a project signing ceremony.
At the event, agreements were reached on cooperation projects worth billions of yuan aimed at advancing initiatives including greenhouse gas emissions reduction, the development of the Zhongguancun Medical Industry Park and new energy projects.
