China, US communicate on drug, law enforcement
In a video call on Thursday, Chinese State Councilor and Minister of Public Security Wang Xiaohong and United States Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas agreed to maintain communication on drug control and law enforcement cooperation.
Wang emphasized the importance of implementing the agreements reached by the two nations' leaders, urging cooperation built on mutual respect, management of differences and mutual benefit.
He highlighted key areas for collaboration, including drug control, repatriation of undocumented immigrants and combating transnational crime, and expressed the hope to achieve more practical results in these areas.
