China committed to healthy relations with Germany

Germany held its federal election on Sunday, following the collapse of the "traffic light coalition", a coalition government of the Social Democratic Party, the Greens and the Free Democratic Party, led by Chancellor Olaf Scholz.
The result of the snap election, which features four major parties vying for voter support, namely the Christian Democratic Union and its Bavarian sister party the Christian Social Union, Scholz's Social Democratic Party, the Greens and the far-right Alternative for Germany, will determine the composition of the new Bundestag, Germany's lower house of parliament, and, ultimately, the next chancellor.
No matter which party wins the election, Beijing remains committed to promoting the healthy development of Sino-German relations. Sino-German ties are of strategic significance to both sides and the world at large, and China's Germany policy remains unchanged.
