Vehicle recalls reflect push for better quality goods
More than 11.2 million automobiles were recalled in China last year, a 67 percent increase from the previous year, according to the State Administration for Market Regulation, which came at a time when the administration is aiming to increase the quality of consumer goods.
The number of new energy vehicles recalled increased significantly to about 4.49 million, accounting for 40 percent of all the automobiles recalled last year, the administration said in a statement.
