Top political adviser meets with Vietnamese official

Wang Huning, a member of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of the Communist Party of China Central Committee, met on Thursday in Beijing with Nguyen Thi Thu Ha, a member of the Communist Party of Vietnam Central Committee and vice-chairwoman and secretary-general of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front.

Wang, who is also chairman of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, China's top political advisory body, said that China is willing to work with Vietnam to vigorously promote the building of a China-Vietnam community with a shared future that carries strategic significance.
