The 2025 China International Fair for Trade in Services is poised to enhance China's global service trade by offering a platform for international collaboration, sharing development opportunities and fostering global economic growth.

This year's CIFTIS will leverage cutting-edge technology to showcase new applications, solutions and products originating from Beijing. By showcasing integrated solutions, comprehensive service systems and innovative offerings, the event aims to establish the "Beijing Services" brand. Starting with the promotion of "Beijing Services", the fair is to gradually extend to promoting "China Services", positioning CIFTIS as the hub for showcasing and procuring Beijing's services.

CIFTIS 2025 is to feature nine themed exhibitions centered around smart technology, integrating tech elements with display content and application scenarios. The telecommunications, computer and information services exhibition is to spotlight advanced industries, with dedicated areas for telecom services, digital technology and intelligent manufacturing. The exhibition layout follows a "2+5+N" structure: two special exhibitions on digital services and 5G connectivity, five forums on topics including digital economy and artificial intelligence, and a wide range of industry salons and international discussions.

The financial services exhibition is to focus on technology and intelligence, introducing AI-driven products and solutions. Highlights include a themed exhibition centered around global intelligence, along with a special exhibition on financial support for private enterprises in Beijing.

One innovation is the CUBe Card, jointly launched by Bank of China, China Unicom and Beijing Municipal Administration & Communication Card. The card offers digital renminbi payment, communication services and travel services for international visitors.

The cultural and tourism services exhibition is to display the latest achievements in the cultural industry, emphasizing technology-driven cultural innovations and international cultural exchanges.

Beijing Tourism Group's event support services represent an innovation in cross-regional collaboration. During the ninth Asian Winter Games, the company provided transportation for heads of state and media workers, as well as catering, accommodation and expert advisory services for the Yabuli competition zone in Harbin, Heilongjiang province.

The education services exhibition is to feature AI in education and international collaboration, with a forum on AI's role in reshaping education.

Beijing Zhipu Huazhang Technology is to present innovations like the AI Space Station and AI Eyecare Companion. These tools are used in three key scenarios: during breaks, in class and after school. They support two main service loops: from AI experience to interactive creation, and from mental health support to crisis intervention. These services are now implemented in 94 schools nationwide, with more than 9,000 minutes of weekly device usage.

In sports services, the latest in technology-driven sports facilities, outdoor and ice sports, and competitions are to be showcased, creating an immersive "sports plus technology plus consumption" experience. The Beijing National Stadium, also known as the Bird's Nest, is to highlight its model for post-event venue management, promoting effective resource and brand management.

The supply chain and business services exhibition is to feature global retail giant Walmart and professional services leader KPMG for the first time. Walmart is to showcase its growth story in Beijing, health products and smart supply chain innovations, while KPMG is to offer insights into the environmental, social and governance framework, digital transformation, and consumer trends.

Finally, the engineering consulting and construction services exhibition is to focus on the life cycle of "quality housing". It is to feature areas dedicated to standards, design, construction, materials, services and outdoor showcases. Environmental services are to highlight advancements in energy systems, pollution control and green technology. Meanwhile, health services are to continue under the "Global Services, Shared Health" theme, covering medical equipment, pharmaceuticals and AI in healthcare.

Beijing-based Xiyuan Hospital of the China Academy of Chinese Medical Sciences has offered training in traditional Chinese medicine for more than 3,000 medical professionals from across five continents over the past 15 years.

The courses cover techniques in TCM, specialized therapies and modern hospital management. The training formats include lectures by experts, clinical learning and online training to cater to the individual needs of participants from different countries.
