JMC launches Ford Territory S

The Sino-US joint venture launched an SUV called Territory S on Wednesday. Featuring Tencent's smart system, the model has five variants priced from 109,800 yuan to 164,800 yuan. The carmaker said the model has China's popular WeChat installed and is capable of voice command. Tencent's smart system has made it easy to access music and maps. The Territory S has class-leading dimensions. It has a wheelbase of 2,716 mm, measures 1,936 mm in width, the widest in its segment, and has a luggage space of up to 3,200 liters. High-strength steel accounts for almost 70 percent of the car's body, and Ford's latest Co-Pilot 360 driving assist system offers such functions as adaptable cruise control and blind spot monitoring as well as an automatic emergency brake.
