SAIC Volkswagen unveils Viloran MPV

SAIC Volkswagen launched the Viloran MPV on Thursday. Available in four variants, the largest VW passenger vehicle is priced from 286,800 yuan to 399,800 yuan ($40,000 to $56,000). Measuring 5,346 mm in length and 1,976 mm in width, the model has a wheelbase of 3,180 mm, ensuring a ample room for passengers.

The Viloran has two powertrain options: The 380 TSI variants have a top torque of 350 Nm and a maximum output of 162 kW while the 330 TSI models generate a top torque of 320 Nm and a maximum output of 137 kW. Their oil consumption stands at 8.1 liters and 7.6 liters per 100 km respectively. The model has a 10.3-inch digital panel and the latest parking-assist functions come standard.
