Forum hails cities' role in fostering youth development
An initiative aimed at enhancing the voices and participation of young people in urban development was released on Tuesday in Shenzhen, Guangdong province, on the second day of the World Youth Development Forum.
The Shenzhen Initiative for Youth Development calls for cities to value youth as a "precious resource" for urban development, foster a more conducive atmosphere and create broader platforms for youth participation, and promote international collaboration among young individuals to build a community with a shared future for mankind.
The World Youth Development Forum is taking place both in-person and online from Monday to Wednesday in Beijing and Shenzhen.
