Moussa Dadis Camara, former leader of Guinea's military government, who escaped from the central prison in Conakry, the country's capital, was recaptured on Saturday, said Ibrahima Sory Bangoura, chief of staff and general of the Armed Forces of the Guinean transitional government. Bangoura confirmed in an official news release that the former military leader is safe and sound and is back in the central prison of Conakry, while two other fugitives, Colonel Moussa Tiegboro Camara and Colonel Blaise Gomou, have also been recaptured and brought back to the prison.
