Philippine intrusions prompt warning from China
China warned the Philippines to stop infringing on China's territorial sovereignty in the South China Sea on Sunday, following two cases of intrusion by Philippine vessels without the Chinese government's permission over the weekend, Gan Yu, a spokesman for the China Coast Guard, said in a statement issued on Sunday.
Three vessels of the Philippine bureau of fisheries and aquatic resources entered into waters near Huangyan Island on Saturday, ignoring China's repeated warnings, he said in a statement.
The China Coast Guard took control measures and dispelled them in accordance with the law and regulations, Gan said.
