STRATEGIC EXPANSION
Artyzen Hospitality Group, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Shun Tak Holdings, announced its future development and business strategy in Shanghai, positioning the city as a launchpad for its strategic expansion showcasing each of AHG's homegrown lifestyle brands. To date, two-thirds of AHG's hotel projects are located in Shanghai. The group also expanded the presence of Artyzen Habitat in Shanghai and Suzhou, Jiangsu province. After the opening of Artyzen Habitat Hengqin Zhuhai in March, the momentum continues with the opening of Artyzen Habitat Chongqing in May.
SUMMIT INSIGHTS
The 14th China-US Tourism Leadership Summit, held on Wednesday in Xi'an, Shaanxi province, attracted nearly 400 participants. They included government officials, corporate executives and representatives of trade associations and local authorities from both countries. Among them, Mao Yibing, who is in charge of Marriott International's strategic growth and overall operations in China, shared the company's growth strategy in China at the event. The strategy focuses on using a leading brand matrix, a loyal member community, and excellent operations as growth engines, with digital innovation and talent development as strategic priorities.
CHILD RESCUE
On flight CZ8813 from Beijing to Chongqing on May 7, the cabin crew of the Beijing branch of China Southern Airlines helped to rescue a child who was choking on food by performing the Heimlich maneuver, demonstrating their pursuit of "life first" with their professionalism.
AIRLINE SHOWCASE
At the sixth Western China International Fair for Investment and Trade, running from Thursday to Saturday in Chongqing, Air China is highlighting its brand image and operation prowess. Leveraging digital technologies, historical materials and exhibits, the airline is showcasing its achievements in safety, air route hub and network expansion, products and services, green development and contribution to rural vitalization.
ENVIRONMENTAL ACTION
Four Points by Sheraton Wuhan Jiangxia in collaboration with the Shiziling community in Jiangxia district of Wuhan, Hubei province, held an environmental event in mid-May to preserve the Tangxun Lake, a major local attraction. A volunteer team consisting of 20 employees of the hotel has organized various activities, such as lectures and collecting trash along the lake, to increase locals' environmental awareness.
AWARDS CEREMONY
The second EO China Awards Ceremony, initiated by the Entrepreneurs' Organization Shanghai Chapter, was held at Sun Chateau on the Bund in Shanghai in April. It recognized the remarkable achievements of EO China member companies and their positive effects on the local economy. With more than 18,000 entrepreneurs as members, the EO community is committed to empowering global entrepreneurs and contributing to the development of the global economy.
