Premier to attend AI conference in Shanghai

Premier Li Qiang will attend the opening ceremony of the 2024 World AI Conference and High-Level Meeting on Global AI Governance in Shanghai on Thursday, Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Mao Ning said on Tuesday. With the theme "Governing AI for Good and for All", the event will run from Thursday to Saturday. It will feature a conference and forum, displays and exhibitions, a contest and an awards ceremony, and gather top scientists, entrepreneurs, government officials, experts and scholars, representatives of international organizations, investors and startup teams.
