Envoy to attend Mauritania event

Wang Guangqian, vice-chairman of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, will act as President Xi Jinping's special envoy to attend Mauritania's President Mohamed Ould Cheikh Ghazouani's inauguration, Foreign Ministry spokesman Lin Jian said on Wednesday. The ceremony will be held in Mauritania's capital Nouakchott on Thursday.
