Jude Bellingham said Real Madrid was beaten by the "best performing team in Europe" after Real Madrid's 2-0 defeat to Liverpool, and questioned the holder's attitude after a third loss in five Champions League games.
The 15-time winner is 24th in the 36-team table with three games of the league phase remaining. It runs the risk of failing to make the knockout stages.
Liverpool, by contrast, is flying high at the top of the table with a maximum 15 points from its five games. It is also eight points clear at the summit of the Premier League.
