Deals signed at Guangzhou intl agricultural trade fair

As much as 23.6 billion yuan ($324.9 million) in trade deals were signed at the 21st China International Agricultural Trade Fair from Nov 28 to Dec 1 in Guangzhou, Guangdong province, the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs said.

The four-day fair, hosted by the ministry, attracted a record nearly 50,000 purchasers. Some 3,000 companies showcased more than 20,000 products and more than 60 companies from 15 countries joined the fair's international section. Kazakhstan, the fair's guest of honor, reached a series of consensuses in collaborating with the Chinese side in areas such as grain and oil processing, animal husbandry and the production of animal feed.
