College graduates wanted for rural teaching posts

China plans to recruit 21,000 college graduates as teachers for rural primary and middle schools this year as part of efforts to promote the high-quality development of education in rural areas, the Ministry of Education said on Friday.

The recruitment is mainly for key counties receiving national assistance for rural vitalization and those inhabited by ethnic groups, according to a notice issued by the ministries of education and finance on carrying out the rural special-post teacher recruitment program this year.
