Other major commemorative events

・ On July 7: A ceremony will be held at the Museum of the War of Chinese People's Resistance Against Japanese Aggression to mark the 88th anniversary of the Lugou Bridge Incident, which ignited China's whole-nation resistance against Japanese invasion.

・ Around Sept 3: Symposiums for compatriots from Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan, as well as relevant overseas individuals, along with international academic seminars, will be held to commemorate the 80th anniversary of the victory against Japanese aggression and fascism.

・ On Sept 18: A bell tolling and air-raid siren sounding ceremony will take place at the 9.18 Historical Museum in Shenyang, Liaoning province, to remember the September 18 Incident, which marked the beginning of Japanese troops' invasion of China in 1931.
