Joint air force training bolsters ties
The "Eagle of Civilization-2025" drill showcases China-Egypt military cooperation
From April to May, the "Eagle of Civilization-2025" joint air force training between China and Egypt was concluded at an air force base in Egypt. This marked the first time that the Chinese Air Force sent its force packages to Africa for joint training. Shortly after arrival, they swiftly completed equipment deployment, theoretical lectures, mission planning, and coordinated control preparations, before successfully conducting their maiden flight. The exercise demonstrated the Chinese Air Force's long-range projection, agile deployment, and systematic combat capabilities.
The 18-day joint training focused on group training models, aerial combat tactics, aerial refueling and other topics, engaging in discussions and exchanges. Both sides satisfactorily completed training exercises such as air superiority operations, suppression of air defenses, battlefield search and rescue, and mixed formation operations, marking a new milestone in the military cooperation between the two countries. The joint training presents a strong opportunity to deepen friendship, mutual trust and cooperation. It lays a solid foundation for enhancing mutual trust between the two militaries.
