Funds allocated for jobs for smaller infrastructure projects

The National Development and Reform Commission has allocated an additional 10 billion yuan ($1.4 billion) in central budget funds to increase employment.

The funds will support 1,975 work relief projects in 26 provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities, and in the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps, the commission said in a statement.
