Applications open for 2026 Joe Tsai Basketball Scholarship

Applications for the 2026 Joe Tsai Basketball Scholarship officially opened on Monday and will be accepted through Oct 19.

The program plans to select up to 10 student-athletes (no more than five boys and five girls, respectively) and fully sponsor their studies at top boarding schools in the United States.

Applicants must meet four core criteria: be a Chinese citizen (including permanent residents of Hong Kong and Macao) with official school enrollment; be born between Sept 1, 2010, and Aug 31, 2012; possess the required academic background and English proficiency; have at least two years of systematic basketball training and experience in junior high school leagues or U-series competitions.
