The Blue Book of China's Marine Economy, an annual analysis of the sector, was released on Thursday, the opening day of the 2026 China Marine Economy Expo in Shenzhen, Guangdong province.

Government officials, marine industry representatives and scholars from universities and research institutes attended the launch ceremony.
